She Is Forestry South Africa <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Empowering, celebrating and supporting women across the forestry sector and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She Is Forestry SA (SIFSA) is a non-profit organisation established by the Forest Sector Charter Council and Forestry South Africa and supported by the entire forestry sector and forest product value chain. She Is Forestry SA was established to encourage, support, promote and uplift women from across the sector, its value chains, and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual SIFSA webinar provides a platform for highlighting the integral role of women in forestry and addressing gender-based barriers women still experience. It also provides the stage for the annual SIFSA Awards, celebrating the resounding contribution women are making in shaping the sector. The organisation also supports the five schools across the forestry provinces of Limpopo, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape and Western Cape in their quest to give learners the opportunities and education they deserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
